Out of Hours
What to do in an emergency
Please ring the usual surgery telephone number and you will be transferred to the appropriate out of hours service.
If you are calling on behalf of someone else please have relevant information available, such as:
- address
- date of birth
- current medication
- name of their GP.
If considered necessary you will be referred to a duty Doctor or Nurse Practitioner who will contact you and either:
- give further telephone advice
- ask you to attend a local centre
OR:
- visit you at home.
Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe any of the following:
- chest pain
- loss of blood
- suspected broken bones
go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.
